Amidst the seeming uncertainties due to COVID-19 pandemic, one thing remains certain – Marywoods Academy continues to provide quality education through all means possible to meet the needs of our children. In the interim while our students are not allowed to go out of their homes, the mode of delivery will be online. When the new school year opens, Marywoods will be ready to respond to the educational needs of our students through flexible and blended learning programs.
To make sure that our children are not left behind during the quarantine period and extended vacation, we have prepared our “Online Tutorials and Advanced Learning Program” or OLP for short. It is designed to help students learn at home in a meaningful and holistic manner, combining both academics as well as character formation. This program aims to (1) keep students academically on track with the curriculum and (2) provide access for advanced and diverse learning.
The setup is aimed at helping children continue the discipline of learning while at home so they can be ready to transition to regular school setting whenever that may be. This and the free add-on subjects are part of the continuing character formation aspect of the program.
